Pan Pacific Orchard

A vertical garden that treats greenery as architecture rather than decoration. WOHA stack a forest, a beach, a garden and a cloud into the Orchard skyline, and the building itself is the reason to come.

An architectural masterpiece whose public spaces outshine the guestrooms. Worth experiencing, particularly in a Beach Terrace room.

The Review
Inside the Stay

The stay, told in four parts

One of the most striking hotels we have stayed in, and the building carries the stay. A Beach Terrace room transforms it. The room itself, and the reserve of the service, keep it from a higher mark.

The Room We Would Book

A Beach Terrace room, opening onto the planted void

The Beach Terrace rooms are what to ask for. The door opens straight onto the planted balcony, a small private edge above a lit garden that quietly reorders the whole room.

Standard rooms are compact and the bathroom is open to the bed with only a partial screen, so if privacy matters or the room is being shared, the Beach Terrace is the answer both to the layout and to the reason for coming.

A Curious Detail

Rather than designing Pan Pacific Orchard as one continuous tower, its architects divided the building into four distinct vertical environments, with three elevated Sky Terraces functioning almost like gardens suspended above the city. These terraces help break down the scale of the 23 storey building and allow the hotel to feel closer to a tropical resort than a conventional urban tower.
